Adversarial review decision: reject until CI is green.

I could not submit this as a request-changes review because GitHub rejects request-changes reviews from the PR author, but the blocker remains:

  • PR checks are red: Docs QA, Lint/Tests/Package, and Workspace Coverage are failing.
  • Docs QA fails the Docusaurus build because docs/v6-spec-and-roadmap/security-architecture.md has an unresolved markdown link to ../policy-enforcement.md.
  • Lint/Tests/Package fails building packages/adapters/core because @a5c-ai/genty-core/trust and @a5c-ai/policy-adapter cannot be resolved.
  • Workspace Coverage fails building packages/adapters/transport because @a5c-ai/trust-core and @a5c-ai/policy-adapter cannot be resolved, with additional implicit-any errors.

Risk level: risk:medium.

Fix or rebase onto a green baseline, then rerun the checks before approval/merge.

Live-stack QA

Result: blocked.

No live-stack workflow was dispatched because this PR only changes docs-only changelog files (CHANGELOG.md and docs/daily-updates/2026-07-17.md). It does not target adapter, SDK/plugin, hooks, launch, transport/provider, or atlas graph behavior, so an unrelated live-stack matrix would not add relevant QA coverage.

Required CI is currently failing and remains the relevant blocker for this PR.

Live-stack QA

Result: blocked. No live-stack workflow dispatched: PR #1475 is docs-only (CHANGELOG.md and docs/daily-updates/2026-07-17.md) and does not touch live-stack-covered adapter, SDK, hooks, launch, transport, provider translation, or BP/plugin paths. Required CI is currently red: Docs QA, Lint/Tests/Package, and Workspace Coverage failed, so QA remains blocked on required CI rather than unrelated live-stack coverage.

Adversarial Review Decision: request changes

I could not create a formal REQUEST_CHANGES review because GitHub rejects review-state changes from the PR author identity, but the review decision is unchanged: this PR should not be approved or merged while validation is red.

Blocker

  • Required CI/QA is failing or blocked for this PR. PR docs: changelog update 2026-07-17 #1475 is UNSTABLE; the CI run for commit fe14d94b628a74009197b0a568ef9d88836a53fa failed Docs QA, Lint, Tests, Package, and Workspace Coverage. The adversarial QA dispatch also concluded no live-stack matrix is relevant for this docs-only changelog update and left required CI as the active blocker.

Evidence

  • Docs QA fails Docusaurus MDX compilation because docs/v6-spec-and-roadmap/security-architecture.md references unresolved ../policy-enforcement.md.
  • Lint, Tests, Package fails in the runtime graph build on unresolved workspace imports including @a5c-ai/genty-core/trust and @a5c-ai/policy-adapter.
  • Workspace Coverage fails transport-adapter validation on unresolved imports including @a5c-ai/trust-core and @a5c-ai/policy-adapter.
  • Live-stack QA was blocked as not applicable to this PR scope; it did not produce a passing QA signal.

Required fix

Get required CI green on the PR merge commit, or have maintainers explicitly resolve the red checks through the normal repository policy path if they are confirmed base-branch failures. If this daily update is still intended to represent 2026-07-17, also confirm or regenerate the point-in-time issue/CI snapshot before merge.

Risk Assessment

Risk level: risk:medium

  • Risk: The docs-only content has low product blast radius, but red CI means the repository cannot distinguish this PR from an unhealthy merge commit. Mitigation: rerun/fix required CI before merge.
  • Risk: The generated daily update may be stale because it captures a historical point-in-time snapshot. Mitigation: confirm freshness or regenerate before merge if the changelog must reflect the final merge date.

No debt issues created; this is a merge-gate blocker, not follow-up debt.

Adversarial Review Decision: request changes

I could not submit this as a formal REQUEST_CHANGES review because GitHub rejects request-changes reviews from the PR author identity, but the process decision is unchanged: this PR should not be approved or merged while required validation is red.

Blocker

  • Required PR validation is failing on head fe14d94b628a74009197b0a568ef9d88836a53fa. Current checks show Docs QA, Lint, Tests, Package, and Workspace Coverage failing; only Observer Dashboard is passing. mergeStateStatus is also DIRTY.

Evidence

  • Changed files are docs-only: CHANGELOG.md and docs/daily-updates/2026-07-17.md.
  • No live-stack QA workflow was dispatched because the PR does not touch transport, launch, atlas graph, adapter, hooks, SDK, provider translation, or other live-stack-covered paths.
  • Because required CI is red, QA remains blocked/inconclusive and there is no passing validation signal for merge.

Required fix

Get required CI green on the PR head, or have maintainers explicitly resolve the red checks through the normal repository policy path if they are confirmed base-branch failures. Also confirm that the 2026-07-17 point-in-time daily update is still intended if this merges after that date, or regenerate it for the intended changelog date.

Risk Assessment

Risk level: risk:medium

  • Risk: The docs-only markdown has low product-runtime blast radius, but red CI means the repository cannot distinguish this PR from an unsafe merge commit. Mitigation: require green Docs QA, Lint, Tests, Package, and Workspace Coverage, or a documented maintainer override for confirmed baseline failures.
  • Risk: The generated daily update may become stale because it captures a 2026-07-17 point-in-time snapshot. Mitigation: confirm the date is intentional or regenerate before merge.

No debt issues created; this is a merge-gate blocker, not follow-up debt.

Adversarial Review Decision: request changes

I could not submit this as a formal REQUEST_CHANGES review because GitHub rejects request-changes reviews from the PR author identity, but the decision is unchanged: this PR should not be approved or merged yet.

Blockers

  • PR metadata: not mergeable against staging. GitHub reports mergeable=CONFLICTING, mergeStateStatus=DIRTY, and no potential merge commit for head fe14d94b628a74009197b0a568ef9d88836a53fa against base fae53b9abc0e544eaefba8f7dcdbf21ca45977e5. Rebase/update changelog/daily-2026-07-17 onto current staging, resolve conflicts, then rerun validation.
  • PR checks: validation is red. The PR CI rollup has failed Docs QA, Lint, Tests, Package, and Workspace Coverage on the PR head. Observer Dashboard passed, but the failed validation jobs are enough to block merge. Fix the failures or get a documented maintainer decision that they are confirmed base-branch failures before merge.

QA

No live-stack QA workflow was dispatched. The changed files are docs-only (CHANGELOG.md and docs/daily-updates/2026-07-17.md) and do not touch transport, launch, atlas graph runtime paths, adapters, hooks, SDK runtime code, provider translation, or BP/plugin paths covered by live-stack scenarios.

Freshness check

The generated daily update is for 2026-07-17, while this review is being run on 2026-08-07. If this is intended to be a historical daily snapshot, that is fine; otherwise regenerate or confirm the snapshot before merging.

Risk Assessment

Risk level: risk:medium

  • Risk: the markdown-only diff has low runtime blast radius, but red CI means the repository cannot distinguish this PR from an unhealthy merge commit. Mitigation: require green CI on the PR/merge commit or a documented maintainer override for confirmed base-branch failures.
  • Risk: the changelog may be stale if consumers expect the newest merged daily update. Mitigation: confirm the historical snapshot is intentional or regenerate it before merge.
  • Risk: conflict resolution after this review may change the effective changelog content. Mitigation: re-review the resolved diff after rebasing or conflict resolution.

No debt issues created; these are merge-gate blockers, not follow-up debt.
